How Chef Wyatt Harte turned a food truck dream into Downtown JC's favorite spot.
No Forks Given started in 2017 when Chef Wyatt Harte hit the road with a food truck and a bold vision: comfort food with a worldly twist. Word spread fast. The food truck became a fixture at festivals, markets, and street corners across New Jersey — the kind of thing people found on Instagram and told all their friends about.
In June 2023, Chef Wyatt planted roots at 115 Brunswick Street in the heart of Downtown Jersey City. Same bold flavors. Same no-pretension attitude. Now with a full kitchen to push the boundaries even further. The menu draws from Korean, Peruvian, Mexican, and American traditions — a reflection of Chef Wyatt's curiosity and his wife Midori's Peruvian heritage, which inspired signature items like the Peruvian chicken sandwich with aji amarillo and aji verde.
Every sandwich starts with halal chicken or Pat LaFrieda beef. Every cheesesteak lands on a Balthazar French roll. Quality ingredients, massive portions, and flavors that hit different. That's the NFG promise.
